Search Engine Marketing

SEM | Pay Per Click (PPC) | Google Adwords | Bing Ads | Search

Imagine reaching your target audience at the exact moment they're searching for your products or services. That's the power of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising – a game-changing strategy that can propel your business forward.

What is Pay-Per-Click Advertising?

Pay-Per-Click advertising is a digital marketing approach that puts your business front and center on search engines and platforms. Unlike traditional advertising, where you pay upfront regardless of the outcome, PPC lets you pay only when someone clicks on your ad. This means every penny of your budget goes directly towards potential customers who are genuinely interested in what you offer.

Why Choose PPC for Your Business?

Imagine having your business featured right at the top of search results when someone looks for keywords related to your products or services. With PPC, that dream becomes a reality. Here's why PPC is a must for businesses aiming to thrive in the digital age:

  1. Targeted Reach: Reach the right people at the right time. Your ads will be shown to users actively searching for keywords relevant to your business, increasing the likelihood of conversions.

  2. Instant Visibility: No need to wait for your SEO efforts to kick in. With PPC, your ads are live as soon as your campaign starts, giving you immediate visibility.

  3. Budget Control: Set your budget and bid amounts according to your resources. You have full control over how much you're willing to invest, making PPC adaptable to businesses of all sizes.

  4. Measurable Results: Easily track your campaign's performance. With comprehensive analytics, you can measure clicks, conversions, and ROI, allowing you to refine your strategy for better results.

Google Adwords Campaign

Search Engines

Both Google and Bing SEM campaigns are available on the SEM campaign builder. SEM is considered "pull" marketing because the user is demonstrating intent by searching out your product(s) or service(s).

Bing Search Campaigns

Strategy

We set up your campaign to focus on hot and cold search queries. Hot queries would be your brand name, cold would be queries used when researching your product or service. The search query report is actively monitored so your ad is only served for the most relevant searches.

Frequently Asked Questions - SEM

How do companies use SEM?

Businesses want to advertise to consumers who are actively seeking out their product(s) or service(s). SEM is a great way to do this. When a consuemr searches on Google or Bing, your ad will display on the first page of the search results giving them the answer to their search query.

How am I charged?

You are only charged if someone clicks on your ad.

How can I target?

By geography and keywords.

Who writes the ads?

We do. If you have ads you'd like to run you can send them in. Several ads will be written over the course of your campaign. Ads are written around the keyword used in the single keyword ad group.

Why are Quality Scores so important?

Quality scores are measured for relevance from 1 (least relevant) to 10 (most relevant). The higher your score, the more Google wants to show your ad due to it being the most relevant to the searchers query. The lower your quality score, the higher your bid has to be to show up in a search query. The more your ad is shown, the more it can deliver conversions.

Do you include ad extensions?

Yes, we automatically create every applicable ad extension for your campaign.

What conversions can I measure?

Purchase, lead forms, phone calls, ad clicks can all be measured by using the Search Engines conversion pixels.

Do you use call tracking software?

Yes. We can track and record phone calls based on campaigns down to the keywords used that triggered a call. We offer call tracking on all campaigns as an option.

Should I use Google or Bing?

Usually most companies start out on Google and expand onto Bing but there are no hard rules saying you can't utilize Bing first. Often times, competition is lighter on Bing, however Google accounts for the majority of search engine usage.

How are Quality Scores calculated?

Quality Scores are calculated based on a couple of factors. The relevance of your keyword, the landing page experience, ad extensions used, expected CTR, your ad copy and a few other variables all play into your Quality Score.
